Our speaker on January 14th is Steve Williams local award winning photographer and group leader of Chesterfield RSPB. From the warmth of our armchairs we will visit the mountains of Northern Norway in the depths of winter at -14oC to watch Golden and White Tailed Eagles and a surprising variety of other birds. Despite the white tail the eagle in our photo is in fact a Golden Eagle, a first year bird. Steve will then move on to Finland for Brown Bears and Dumfriesshire for Kingfishers and hares. Be prepared for some stunning images!
