Meet at 9.30 at the white gate on the A621 Baslow to Owler Bar (Sheffield) road about 2 miles north of Baslow. Parking in lay-bys on either side of the road. Please be careful if crossing the road, cars come down at very high speed. We hope to see redstart, tree pipit, buzzard, curlew, skylark and possibly spotted flycatcher plus a good selection of woodland birds. If there is time we could move on to Froggatt Bridge and walk along the river. Lunch at the Grouse. After lunch some may like to visit the pied flycatchers on Froggatt Edge.

A local area and not one we have previously visited, so will be interesting for some of us to tread new ground!
